June Wrap Up

June came and went TOO fast! We spent the first week in Texas and here's how we finished the rest of the month!

Took a trip to the park to get the kids out of the house for a while

This is K's favorite slide!

The kids have this sand and water table. It's fun but I hate sand.. Caden throws it, gets it in his eyes, the kids always need a bath aftewards... its AWFUL! So I found a great alternative.. colored noodles and rice!

We also managed to do a few de-cluttering challenges around the house. This is the kids drawer in the desk.

It was pretty easy to clean out as most of it was trash... Much better!!!

K's Chore chart... she filled it up and got her reward! Definitely works great for her!!!

Caden LOVES corn... as long as it's on the cob. He can clear it off pretty good. It's quite impressive!

Fathers Day Morning

We took a trip to Lowes for Daddy... sounds exciting but he just had to make a run to grab stuff for Monday at work. Then we went over to Poppa and Mimis house to swim!

Dads got a free cup on Fathers Day so we couldn't resist!

This cup, of course, is Kinsleys! She gets a little excited with her toppings!

Cousin playdate... minus a few that were too occupied playing :)

Kinsley at Eliyah, Ava & Kaelyn's birthday party. She loved the trampoline! She was so excited about the party that she got up, put on her leotard and wore it all day. She even wore it to Pei Wei for lunch before hand!

Caden's first trip to the movie theater. Our movies have $2 movies on Thursdays where they show previously released movies. $2 includes the ticket, popcorn and a drink! Can't beat that. The kids made it through about an hour and then we got up and left.

Saturday morning run to the farmers market! We also had plenty of fresh fruit tea and baked goods from Wild Flours... but of course those made it home in our bellies! :)

Our movie theater has kids matinee movies on Saturdays. We found out that this particular Saturday they were showing Strawberry Shortcake so we had to go! The girls had SUCH a fun time!
