All the Joys of Motherhood: Caden's 9 Month Update

Believe it or not, Caden is 9 months old today.

We're 3/4 of the way through his 1st year!

Here's a few updates:

Up on hands and knees: 11/2
Able to get up into a push up position: 11/4

Started rocking on hands and knees: 11/6

Started shooting forward in a Superman position from hands and knees (pretty HILARIOUS!): 11/10

Mastered the "army crawl": 11/14

Started sitting up on his own from a crawling position: 12/1

Pulled up on the couch: 12/5

Started furniture surfing: 12/8

Started pulling up on flat surfaces (back of couch.. walls...): 12/18

Found Caden standing in his crib: 12/20

Started crawling with one leg pushing instead of crawling: 12/26

Climbed up the stairs: 1/3

I spend more time carefully monitoring Caden's wherabouts than ANYTHING!

If he's too quiet, it's a BAD, BAD thing.

Here's some more info on what he's been up to:

He's comfortably wearing 12 month clothes
He's in size 3 diapers
He's been introduced to many new foods and has tolerated most of them
He enjoys his YoBaby yogurt
He especially enjoys finger foods - yogurt melts, puffs, Cheerios, steamed veggies, pieces of bread...etc
He goes back and forth from 1 -2hr nap once a day or 2 or 3 45min cat naps
Since he's been so mobile, he HATES being strapped in his carseat
He babbles a lot - definitely saying "dadadadadadada" and "mamamamama"
He's started to reach out to you if he wants you pick him up.
He claps his hands
He really enjoys bath time and doesn't like getting out
He chews on EVERYTHING he can get his hands on
He now has 5 teeth (2 on top 3 on bottom)

Speaking of my little linebacker - he's awake!
