Since I have a baby in my arms, I'm not going to re-arrange the pictures around the blog post... so pictures first, update second! :)

At first, he wasn't too bothered by it..

Believe it or not, Caden is already a week old! It just boggles my mind!
Here's a few updates on what life is like with Caden:
- He weighs about 7 lbs (our digital scale only weighs in 1/2lb increments so he may weigh more/less). He was born at 6lbs 8oz and weighed 6lbs even on Monday at our postpartum visit.
- Mommy is down to 5lbs away from her pre-pregnancy weight! WOOHOO!
- He eats about every 2 - 2 1/2hrs during the day.
- He eats every 4 hours at night. Mommy is LOVING that! He eats for 25 mns and then sleeps for 3 1/2 hours. :o)
- He's such a great sleeper. He'll sleep in his bed, next to Mommy, in the swing, on the couch... anywhere!
- He's a bit of a Mommy's boy already! hehe He LOVES his Mommy and I'm lovin' every minute of it!
- At any given "diaper check", he's probably poopy and you'd never know b/c he doesn't fuss about it.
- He's finally fitting into newborn diapers.. speaking of, we're almost out! YIKES!
- He's a wonderful eater.. a couple minor latch issues, but other than that, I have NO room to complain.
- So far, we haven't had any "blow out" diapers, however, I'm sure those days await us.
- His umbilical cord fell off on Wednesday... still appears to be an "inny". It's still not healed all the way so no bath yet.
- He's still a tad bit jaundiced. His coloring looks good but his eyes are still a bit yellow.
- He loves to sleep with his hands all balled up by his face.
- He's starting to make little noises here and there which can be pretty funny!
- Just in the last day or so, he's been alert for longer periods of time. It's great to see those cute blue eyes.
