This one is my favorite!
Mr. Freeze @ Six Flags over Texas
Tallest, fastest roller coaster in the Southeast!
0-70mph in 4 seconds
Close to 1,400 feet long and 24 stories tall of sheer thrill!
I think I like this one because you ride it through going forward and then it cranks you all the way to the top of the tower. You hold there for a split second and then it releases you and you ride it backwards all the way back to the beginning! WOOO!
Alright, well as fun as roller coasters are... our life has been one heck of a ride lately!
When we got married, Jeremy was working with his family and their steel building business. As well all know, the economy hasn't been too good to the construction industry! The first week in September 2010 was J's last week of work with his family. After much prayer, we rented out our house (after if failed to sell), packed up our stuff and headed to Texas. We were here in Ft. Worth at the end of November.
After much searching, Jeremy landed a job at a demolition company in Irving. The hours were long and unpredictable and the work was very physically demanding. In April he started to look for another job. We were still praying about a couple different options when...
One thing led to another and our renters broke their contract and needed to move out 5 months before their contract was up! So, we packed up our car and headed for TN. Everyone got to meet Caden, we celebrated the girls birthdays, Caden was dedicated and... Jeremy had a job interview.
His really good friend Matt set it up for the company he works for. We were (or I should specify - I was...) very hesitant and NOT wanting to move back. But, if everything was as good as Matt said, he needed to go to the interview and then we would pray about it.
He went to 2 interviews that week at the company and things went great! A few days before leaving to head back to TX, the boss called with an offer for Jeremy. It was a great offer and after much prayer, discussion and talking with our families, we took the job.
Fast forward to present day - Jeremy has been in TN at his new job for 2 weeks now. He's really enjoying it!!!! He's working through all of the kinks and trying to settle into a "natural groove" with his new position. Our renters will be out this weekend and then he can physically start preparing the house for us to come join him. In the next few weeks, we'll finish off the transition of getting our stuff and us there to TN.
Here's what we know lies ahead in the near future:

2. He'll enroll in some Bible courses (since we're moving away from CFNI, our Bible college plan is getting shifted around a tad bit)
3. I'll start online classes in the fall to finish my associates degree
4. K will start pre-school 2 days a week in the fall.
5. We're looking into putting K into a dance class once a week.
6. Caden will continue to cruise through the many milestones such as rolling, laughing, sitting, crawling, walking, talking, and so on.

We greatly appreciate all of the prayers and encouragement as we venture through this next chapter in our lives... One thing we know for certain is that there is never a dull moment in our family!
